A few years ago, \u201cwine tasting\u201d to me would mean a fancy night in an expensive restaurant with a plethora of cheeses on a wooden board. Sure, there are plenty of spots in Columbus where you can go out and make this happen\u2014who doesn\u2019t enjoy a good charcuterie every once in awhile? (The Wine Bistro, I\u2019m looking at you!!) But if most of you are like me, the majority of my nights out of the house are spent ballin\u2019 on a budget. Thankfully, cbus has us wallet-conscious winos covered. So covered, in fact, there\u2019s at least one (and sometimes more!!) wine deals going on in the city every single night. I\u2019ve put together a quick round-up for you all\u2014enjoy!<\/p>\n

Columbus Wine Deals for Every Day of the Week<\/u><\/h2>\n

Monday: Due Amici<\/strong><\/a> 1\/2 priced wine bottles<\/p>\n

Tues: BJ’s Brewhouse<\/strong><\/a> 1\/2 priced wine<\/p>\n

Wed: 5 for $5 at Camelot Cellars <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Thurs: Last Thursday of the month at Wine on High <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Fri: Wine Tastings at Whole Foods<\/strong><\/a>, Giant Eagle <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Saturday: The Hills Market<\/strong><\/a> 10 for $10 first Saturday of the Month<\/p>\n

Sunday: 20% off bottles at Spagio <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Monday: Due Amici \u00bd priced wine bottles<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Whether your job schedule means Monday Funday on the reg or you\u2019re just really needing a glass, err, bottle.. to cap off a rough start to the week, Due Amici has you covered! The convenient location is a quick walk after work for downtowners, and half priced bottles can\u2019t be beat, especially because they will let you take home whatever you don\u2019t finish. Stopping by with a few friends? The Spinach Artichoke Dip is a must, trust me!<\/p>\n

Tuesday: BJ\u2019s Brewhouse \u00bd priced wine<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For those of you a little farther from downtown, any of the three Columbus BJ\u2019s locations (Dublin, Polaris, or Easton) are in on the \u00bd priced wine deal too! All glasses AND bottles are half off on Tuesdays. And the best part? It\u2019s all day long\u2014no need to rush to beat happy hour times. Did I mention that Tuesdays are also $3 Pizookie\u2019s? There\u2019s no way you can say no to that.. see you there next Tuesday!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s better than a mid-week wine tasting? Nothing\u2014especially when it only costs you five bucks! Although the deal only lasts from 4-6pm, you\u2019d better get there fast because this place fills up fast. Camelot Cellars is tucked away in Olde Towne East (across from one of my favorite breakfast nooks, The Angry Baker!). The quaint wine cellar also serves shareable small plates and cheese boards for those looking for a snack with their sip!<\/p>\n

Thursday: Wine on High 20 for $20 (last Thursday of every month)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I\u2019ll warn you now, the Wine on High 20 for $20 wine tasting is not for the weak. Laugh if you want, but I\u2019m not kidding! I consider this wine tasting the biggest bang for your buck, but there\u2019s a few musts that done before you attend:<\/p>\n
